Mosby was originally formed in late 2009 as a solo acoustic
project by Travis Williams. Williams, formely of The Adio Sequence, was looking
to take a step away from the loud aggressive nature of his previous band and
create a more minimalistic style of music centered around an acoustic guitar
and voice.
Mosby's debut album "The Sound Alive" took several turns for better
and worse during it's conception. As creativity flowed and as the right
musicians came into placet, it was clear that this couldn't be just a solo
acoustic project.
Enter the Mosby you see and hear today. The group has evolved from a solo
acoustic act to a hard-hitting rock band, pouring their heart and souls into a
combined effort to create excellent music and settle for nothing less than a
good time.
The core of Mosby consists of Jackson Conrad, drummer of Leaves Russell,
covering lead guitar. Dustin Lawrence, formerly of Hafaway and Downside,
filling out the low-end spectrum. Michael Spitler, of Lewd Admire, keeping time
with authority. Fronted by Williams extensive vocal range and solid backing
guitar.
The group doesn't stop there. With musical support from Stephan Hawkes, and several others, Mosby's live performances are ever-changing and
growing into something that can only be experienced
